I believe that being truly seen is the highest form of kindness.
My path to visual storytelling wasn't a straight line. It began in Costa Rica, grew through a working-class upbringing, and eventually led me to Columbia University on a full scholarship. There, I earned degrees in Psychology and Fine Arts—a combination that allows me to navigate a production set with as much empathy as technical precision.
The One-Man Glam Army
I’ve been called a "Renaissance Man," and I lean into that. Whether I’m building computers, speed skating, or cooking a five-course meal, I am obsessed with the details. In the studio, this manifests as a "One-Man Glam Army" approach. I handle the makeup, the lighting, the direction, and the post-production because I believe a cohesive vision requires a singular, dedicated architect.
High Gloss, Punk Heart
If my work were a song, it would be high-gloss punk: meticulously polished on the surface, but raw and honest underneath. My background in psychology allows me to read the room and "unmask" my subjects. I specialize in creating a "vulnerable-yet-invincible" look, ensuring that every client—from a corporate executive to a local artisan—feels comfortable enough to be their true self.
From NYC to NC (and Everywhere In-Between)
I am a "clown" on set because I believe high-end art shouldn't feel like a chore. I make the process chill, the jokes frequent, and the results undeniable. Today, I split my time between the grit of New York City and the soul of North Carolina, always ready to travel for a project that demands a deep human connection and a sharp, technical eye.
I’m here to exalt the individual, document the memory, and perfect the frame.
